Wait time was very short, but that's not all. I'm TERRIFIED of needles, as in I'm an adult who needs my mom to still hold my hand lol. I went in alone this time and told the nurse and she talked me through it, used a small needle, and it was over so quickly and painlessly. If you're scared of needles like I am, this is the place to get your bloodwork done.
I booked through web-check in and walked in at 9am. I read the reviews prior to coming and was a bit worried for wait time and service but i absolutely would recommend this place. All the receptionist staffs were very friendly and answered all my questions when I got there. Wait time was around 30mins which was great since I expected much longer. Alysha was in charge of my blood testing and she is the best; friendly, empathetic, and had my blood vials filled in a jiffy; no pain!! Thank you so much to all the staff there!
This is a busier place because it has employees who know what they are doing and do them well. My mom has very small veins and thus gets very nervous when it comes to blood test. Her past experiences elsewhere scared her off. But it’s different at Dynacare at this location. This morning, a staff named Tigist did hers with care and got it all done in one try. Last time, my mom had a different staff there and was also a successful smooth experience. Thank you! Also, they have a system to display how long a wait for each patient that registered- it’s great to manage and respect ppl’s time and expectations.
I was in and out in 30 minutes. I have been going to this location for many years now and I havent had any issues. You just have to be patient. The lab technicians will take care of you. I can't speak for others experiences but I have had a positive experience everytime.
The fasting tests are usually busy, but that is to be be expected. I find the technicians to be very skilled and comforting. Reception is quite efficient even though abrupt at times.
I went here a few days ago for a blood test and had a terrible experience. The male staff who drew my blood seemed very careless and unskilled. As soon as he inserted the needle, it was extremely painful — I told him it hurt a lot, but he just continued without checking or adjusting. It felt like he pushed the needle in too deep, and I’ve never felt that kind of pain before during a blood test. He only said”I am so sorry”…… That night my arm was still very sore, and even now, a few days later, there’s a large bruise and sharp nerve pain around the area — it feels like something is poking inside. Please be careful and avoid getting your blood test done at this place.
Today I came to draw blood, and it was not easy to find my veins. The lady who served me today was named Cindy . She had superb skills. After she learned that my veins were difficult to find, she prepared a smaller needle for me and found my veins very accurately. She drew my blood smoothly, which saved me from unnecessary pain. I am very grateful to her. During the previous visit, there was also a lady whose skills were also very good, but I did not notice her name. She was short-haired, Chinese, and could speak Mandarin and Cantonese. It was very difficult to find a vein in my right arm. For many years, no one dared to try to draw blood in my right arm, but she did it, so I didn't have to stretch out my left arm alone. She took care of my left arm. I would like to express my gratitude. I give this laboratory a five-point praise.
