Really rude front desk and broken online booking system. I booked online a week in advance at 4pm but when I arrived 5 minutes early they told me they are closed at 4pm and don’t take any more patients. After I showed them my booking email, they begrudgingly agreed to do the blood work. I think they should have asked me to come earlier after seeing my booking and adjust their online booking as well.
I had my liver scan done in the building and needed blood work done as well. I walked in at this location for blood work and was accommodated. Staff member named May was very professional, gentle and kind. I mentioned to her that my veins are tiny and sometimes hard to find but she managed to poke me only once and completed all the vials without having to jab mr again. I am thankful to May as I barely felt the needle at all. Amazing!
Don't bother booking an appointment online, because this clinic is severely understaffed. There was only one tech working when I arrived early in the morning, and they had to do the administrative processing of patients and do the bloodwork. As a result, the tech was overwhelmed and disorganized. Fellow patients were waiting for up to 30 minutes, even though, we all had appointments booked online. Walk-ins were served BEFORE us, which was annoying, especially for patients who needed to go to work or school early in the morning. One patient who had an appointment booked to take place after mine was served BEFORE me, which was infuriating. Management needs to do better and staff the clinic appropriately. Until this is addressed, I will take my business elsewhere, as there are plenty of better-run clinics in Scarborough.
Receptionist has terrible customer service skills and sent me away for an appointment I made cause she didn’t want to put in the effort to call the doctor for a clarification
It was my 1st visit to the office. Before I came, I read the reviews online a bit. I still gave it a chance and glad that I did. The staff, including the receptionist were very nice and friendly. The blood taking process was quick and accurate (only 1 poke of the needle for 4 tubes). The receptionist needed to input my information into the system. Both staff were very efficient and effective! Well done and keep up the good work!
I intentionally googled for a lab with good reviews for a blood draw due to my fear to needles and booked an appointment online with this lab located on Finch Ave even though there are numerous labs closer to my place. I went in this morning, and came out very disappointed and frustrated - the phlebotomist had to perform two venipunctures because she forgot to fill one of the tubes, and there is a bruise in one of the surfaces. She had no difficulty locating the vein and is a seasoned technician; I have no doubt she could have done a very good job only if she had a bit more compassion, especially I had told her I am scared of needles and came to this lab for its excellent reviews.

ATTENTION TO ALL PEOPLE:THIS PLACE IS NOT RECOMMENDED DONT DO YOUR BLOOD WORK THERE AS LONG AS THEY HAVE THIS BAD FRONT DESK SERVICES Today morning Saturday, The laboratory staff on front desk was very rude and has zero knowledge about customer service. My wife has a test and should be fasting, your lab staff started the procedure without asking her if she was fasting or not or for how many hours she was fasting. We are visiting your place as a patient and she must know that. I went there in the early morning and I was hoping to find good service, but it was the first and last visit to your place. Please hire some nice people on front desk and very important to hire people with good knowledge.
