This car repair shop is the best I have ever experienced. John, the lead technician, is honest and knowledgeable. I went there to fix my car (Mercedes-Benz) for the first time. He made a quote right away, which was the best price compared to other repair shops. But he suddenly suggested to me about a Recall from the maker. He asked for my VIN and searched the Internet, and found the recall. He explained the recall status and told me to try the Benz Dealer first. It worked, and my car was fixed with a fraction of the repair cost. What an honest guy he is. He can fix it and charge me. But he didn’t, and instead gave me the important information that we can’t access. I searched internet by myself to find the information but failed, which means they might have specific website access. Again, a really honest and knowledgeable person!
John was honest, knowledgeable and responsible. And finding all these together in a mechanic is magnificent. Prices were logical and explainable, he considered everything while giving me the orices even for the parts I didn’t want to change. Extremely suggested.
John, the Head Technician at A-Tec Auto, has worked on my car multiple times, and I always know it’s in good hands with him. He clearly explains any issues he finds and consistently returns my vehicle in even better shape—always on time too. I don’t know much about cars, but John never makes me feel uncomfortable about that. He patiently answers all of my maintenance-related questions, no matter how simple or silly they are, and never hurries me away to move on to his next appointment. What I appreciate most is his honesty. He tells me what needs to be done now VS. what can wait, and he never pressures me into unnecessary repairs. I’m so used to other mechanics aggressively pushing for additional maintenance for more money but not John. So, if you’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic, I highly recommend John at A-Tec Auto. He’s knowledgeable, proficient, and he’s earned my loyalty as a customer for life. Just a heads-up: he stays quite busy all year-round. I recommend booking an appointment a few weeks in advance, if you can.
