I had a slow leak in one of my tires that was getting worse very quickly and I had gone to another shop first to have it checked but they refused to even take the wheel off the car as the sidewall had been driven in when it was soft. I then found Galan Tires and called to ask if he had a used tired to replace mine and thank goodness he did! When I arrived he got to work right away and even checked twice for any leaks on the tire he installed. I was in an out in about 20 minutes, he definitely saved me when I was in a pinch - and he offers mobile service too!
Wish I could give 0 stars but I can’t. This guys doesn’t know what he is doing. I went to him to get my puncture fixed, he tried 4 times, wasted my 20 minutes and couldn’t fix it. Then he blamed my tire and tried to sell me a new tire. I just told him to just fix the old tire and give me my car back. He charged me 30 bucks for nothing! I took my car to another garage and he fixed the puncture in 5 mins and only charged 25! This guy is a scammer. I request nobody to go to him. Please!
This guy is having lack of professionalism. Rude and don’t respect customer. I came here to change tires and asked me to remove all tires from the car and put it back to my car. Why i m paying to him then? Fix tire charge is more and he didn’t ask me for nuts at the beginning and later when i said i have new nuts he asked to pay more. Won’t come here again.
This man is the epitome of lack of professionalism who fails to understand the common theoretical knowledge of tires. I took my car to this shop to have both the back of my 2019 crv awd tires swapped for alternative tires (235/65/17’’). The male I believe goes by Galan runs in the back and essentially pulls out the first 2 tires that he sees and within 20 minutes installs them. I was charged $160 for it. The minute I drive off the lot I noticed my car making a strange sound when I break, when I turn, and when I accelerate past 40 km but I figured because the tires are essentially brand new it was nothing. The sound got more and more aggressive overtime to a point where I had to take it back to the shop. I told Galan to drive the car to have a feel and even after that he proceeded to deny taking accountability for his incompetence. Long story short I found out through a friend of mine who has a high understanding of cars that I was given winter tires that should be driven with a pickup truck on my 2019 crv that already has 2 all season tires in the front which explains the weird sound, unbalanced alignment delay in breaking/ accelerating, and once confronted about this predicament Galan tries to play dumb threatening to call the cops on me when I initiated no such threat. Buddy. You run a business and your out here trying to scam your customers could never be me. Bottom line I got my money back and never stepping foot in this establishment again.
I have been going to this shop for some time now and there by far one of the best shops I have went to , respectful , reasonable and always get the job done perfectly I have never had a issue and don’t see any future wise mr galan and his son are wonderful people I would 100% recommend to anyone
Pay attention to the bad reviews. If you get him on a good day he is fine. But he works fast and makes mistakes. He is often rude and the last time he stated making jokes about me with his son. He though that I don’t understand Spanish. One of the worst experiences. On a good day he can be nice. Roll the dice. Been to him 5 times to get bad experience.
I brought a winter tire on rim into shop as it went flat on the drive into work. The owner said it would be $40 to reseal rim leak, I thought this was pretty steep as I brought the tire in off the car and the shop resembled a back yard mechanic. I offered $30. The mechanic broke the bead, put some soapy water on bead and refilled with air. He gave me the tire, I asked about the balancing as he removed the old balance. He said that would be another $15 !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK!!!! Go to a reputable shop and pay what this guy charged, at least you know the job was done right.
