This franchise owner quotes the price and then adds $20 to $30 extra on top of what was quoted. I felt like I got cheated twice already. Midas will be my last option henceforth.
Dereck and Allan is a great guy who really helped me a lot for my winter and oil change! Superb customer service! All the staff are great and amazing people.
I came in today for an assessment, and received an invoice for the work needing to be done. It was so overpriced. I didn’t get the work done. There was a part that states the inspection was courtesy. Except when I walk in, Alan, says he is going to charge me inspection fee. Not a man of his word. Don’t recommend this man to anyone.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I usually get my oil change done at Midas Finch and Victoria for $125, but the last two times I went to this location because the other one didn’t have same-day appointments. The first time, they charged me $140. This time, I asked in advance and was told it would be the same. But after the oil change was done, they charged me $198—without any heads-up. They also added the oil filter price separately this time, which was never the case before. When I questioned it, they had no clear explanation and just blamed it on “Canadian tariffs.” Very disappointing and unprofessional.
I find this location provides good work and at a reasonable price. They never ask you to do anything that you don't need. He is my choice for all my automotive work. Thank You for taking care of your customers!!
I have been meaning to write this review for awhile. I hit a pothole on my way to work and what I thought was going to be a really bad day was turned around by Alan and his team at Midas. Alan not only fixed my tire and bent rim, he was honest, friendly and had me off to work within an hour. A great experience.
