Had work done on my 2011 Explorer under an insurance claim- very satisfied. After a year I was experiencing an issue that I thought was related to the repair. I took the vehicle back and Joe informed me that the part was not something they had touched. He purchased a new part and installed it for an extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop. They have integrity.
This autobody shop does not even deserve a one star. Horrible customer service. They have zero courtesy. I got my car repaired here after the accident. My car wasnt dirty but they showed no common sense courtesy to vaccume or wipe down the dust collected on the dashboard. When I called the owner, he argued and said he did it but clearly even my kids noticed that the car was in exact condition we dropped off. I would never recommend this shop to anyone.
Worst Job done on my Acura MDX, paint came off twice. Went back and said to come back after. Went again and delayed again. Very terrible customer service. Rude people. They work with insurance companies and rip people off. I would recommend never go to the place where insurance companies wants you to go. Deal with the Dealership, Honda, Acura, Range Rover. Deal with them directly get it done from them. Every time i pass by this location. All i say is . F

I have dealt with Joe at Tip Top for over 20 years. My three sons, ( and myself) have been in so many fender benders I should own shares in his company. He has never been anything but professional and super friendly. I don't know why those people gave bad reviews. I know lots of other people who go there and I have NEVER heard anyone complain. On the contrary, everyone expresses their satisfaction with a job well done. I guess haters gotta hate. Every single job that I have had done there, insurance related or not, has come back at factory quality. His mechanical department do all our car repairs and we could not be happier.
I had a similar experience, don't go to this guy. The short story is the manager here is very rude, and lied to my insurance company to cover up for his mistake, but it was easily proven wrong. His repair team missed fixing my car headlights but when I reported it to my insurance company who sent me to him, he first said he had no idea there was a problem with them and then later said he didn't fix them because there had been a previous repair. Not true at all. And I proved it by simply scanning his receipt which clearly stated I was charged for a headlight piece and adjustment. So much for not doing it because there had been a previous repair. He just didn't know his team missed it, and then lied about it. The insurance company apologized and paid me back to go somewhere else, and apparently documented it. His story held me up a few weeks without a car though. I was told by the claims inspector that he had a few complaints. Hopefully in time they add up, and companies don't send people to him. In the mean time, just don't go to him, and if you have a bad experience report it to your insurance company and online, it's the only power we have as consumers.
