Terrible customer service — avoid this place. Spent over $1,500 on lights and had the worst experience. The owner, David, is never around and refuses to deal with issues. The salesperson used a remote to show the chandelier’s light settings but didn’t include it when we bought it. When we called, they claimed it never came with one and after 20 minutes on the call told us to “buy a remote from Home Depot.” Unreal. It took them almost an hour to find another chandelier (in the wrong box), and they were pushing for e-transfer payment before even finding the item. They don’t accept credit cards, and despite multiple calls, no response from the owner. Terrible integrity and zero accountability. Not worth your money or time.
Angle was very nice and helpful. Ended up buying a couch from here. The couch was in stock so we picked it up the day of. Also love all their other options for lightings. Very modern designs.
I highly recommend this place. I got my dining light, sofa and bed frame from here. Quality are solid. Service was great. Delivery was fast. Their prices are fair.
Best lighting and furniture shop that you can visit in town! I will surely come back next week for another set of purchase. Thank you Modern Living for an excellent price and service!
All fake reviews, don’t be fooled. The lady at the front (owner) didn’t even acknowledge my existence let alone say Hi. Stores like this who treat customers like $$$ signs need to be abandoned. I believe they are closing down. I wonder why
I can't say enough about how great my experience was dealing with Modern Living Space. I live in a rural community 2.5 hours from his store, and had a very particular vision for a custom sofa to fill a space in my living room. I found Modern Living Space after doing a lot of research. The owner was very easy to deal with over email, his prices were lower than I expected and in the end I got exactly what I wanted. They even arranged to have it delivered on Christmas Eve to my small town. I will be sure to check out Modern Living Space first next time I make a home purchase.
