The combi heating boiler in our house started leaking profusely in the night. We are thankful to Sunny for responding to our emergency call at 1am. He arrived within 30 minutes and resolved the situation promptly. Highly recommend his service.
This review is as poor as it is due to professionalism, not the actual mechanics of the work done. If you dont care about service people overstepping professional boundaries, the work itself was good. The owner Sunny attempted to address the tech's inappropriate and unauthorized work by amending the invoice, which we appreciated. However the stress of having to deal with a rude and pushy tech is not worth the grief.
A 16 year old furnace at a rental stopped working the other day. I called City Air and they dispatched the technician. Sylvio was onsite in Newmarket quickly and reported the furnace was not worth repairing given its age and he recommended replacing it. He also mentioned he had recently purchased a dented furnace at a discount clearance and would sell it to use for $600 off discount. I approved the work and Sylvio had the replacement in and everything cleaned up early evening. He also cleaned up the gas pipe that ran from the furnace to the water heater to give us more room to move around at no charge. The next day I called him asking for a little cleanup of the expanding foam and caulking where the exhaust piping reached outside. Sylvio was back on site within an hour to do the clean-up. Very impressed with the quality of work, attention to detail, and the good price.
We had our gas shut off my Embridge because it turned out we had several gas leaks, including one huge and dangerous one in an area that required drilling and new gas line installation. Silvio and Vince—super friendly and on top of things—arrived as soon as possible, and they did NOT leave until the problem was resolved. Kowing how dangerous it was, and the fact that our heating and hot water was also turned off (it was freezing outside), they stayed until midnight until we had heating again, and a new gasline. They worked outside in -15 weather! On top of that, the owner, Sonny, came to inspect the job the following day. He is super thorough! Silvio and Vince also came back to make sure the hot water tank and heater were survaced. These guys are amazing.
Old furnace died in the new year holidays, as all the shops were closing, during covid lockdown. I didn't have much hope it could get fixed or replaced any time soon. Called City Air Toronto, and Sylvio came that day, assessed the situation and gave me the repair versus replace options. He was able to replace it and have the heat back on, so the kids could sleep warm, that very night.
Despite a snow storm, the technician came the day after I called. He was polite, efficient and knowledgable, and was able to make some minor adjustments to improve state of our aging system.
After calling City air Toronto, Sunny , who was very pleasant sent one of his technician to my home promptly . Sylvio was very courteous and efficient and restored my heat.
