My ultrasound was handled professionally. The technician was very willing to answer my questions, which I had plenty of. While the procedure was not the most comfortable, I understand the need to get a good image, and I appreciate the thoroughness of the technician. Not all medical procedures are enjoyable or painless - the important thing with imaging is that the information is as good as possible.

I visited Midland-Ellesmere X-Ray and Ultrasound & Cardiac Testing for a DVT ultrasound and had an excellent experience. The ultrasound technician, Nasrin, provided outstanding service. She was professional, gentle, and very caring throughout the procedure, which made me feel comfortable and well looked after. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but I had a great experience. The clerk was super nice, the tech was helpful, my appointment started on time, and the place was really clean.
I accompanied my elderly father for a transrectal ultrasound at this location, and I was disappointed with the level of care and sensitivity shown. While sitting in the waiting room, I noticed signs requesting “no loud noise,” yet one staff member—Jessica—greeted another staff member very loudly. She did not smile at patients and appeared rushed and unfriendly. However, all the other staff, including the secretary, appeared warm and friendly. When Jessica called my dad in, she quickly pointed him to the change room and told him to remove his pants and underwear and put on a gown. She did not explain where he could place his jacket or clothes; thankfully, I was there to help him. Inside the exam room, she did not acknowledge him warmly or offer any comfort. She simply told him to lie down and lift his gown, without offering a blanket—even though he is elderly and English is not his first language. My father felt uncomfortable being exposed, so I stepped out to give him privacy. From outside the door, I could hear her speaking in a very robotic tone, saying his bladder was empty and that he was “dehydrated,” despite him having drunk two bottles of water 1 hour before the exam. She then told him to go pee, and we returned to the room. When my dad said he felt cold, I kindly asked for a blanket. She refused at first and only provided a thin tissue-like stretcher cover when I asked again. I eventually had to tell her to please treat my dad like a human being and mentioned that I work in a hospital and we don’t treat people that way. Only then did she show slightly more care when continuing the procedure. I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but I am an advocate for vulnerable patients—elderly individuals, people with language barriers, or those who may not feel confident speaking up. No one deserves to be ignored or treated without basic compassion. Patients are not robots; they deserve warmth, dignity, and comfort, especially during intimate procedures. Even a simple blanket can make a big difference. I hope the staff reflect on this and follow their own posted guidelines, including maintaining a quiet environment and approaching patients with kindness and respect.

I had a great experience at Midland-Ellesemere Ultrasound. This was my first visit at this location. The clinic is very spacious, clean and up to date. The staff is helpful. I would like to mention one particular person who went out of the way to make my visit comfortable. His name is Ishtiaq. He is a very professional and knowledgeable technician.
